Youth Art Month - Middle School Exhibit

It's Youth Art Month across the nation. Jasper Arts Center celebrates by hosting the county schools with High Schools the first two weeks of the month and alternating Middle and Elementary Schools the second two weeks. This year we feature the Middle Schools from across the county. Boy, is there some neat artwork! I loved the totem poles and the memory books. Also, there are a number of ceramic pieces shaped like food! Yumm.

Preschool Visit the Arts Center

Trinity Tree House preschool visited the arts center today. The children had fun viewing the art exhibit. Later they got to try out the barre in our dance studio. They also got to pretend being different people by trying on hats for all kinds of occupations.

Youth Art Month - HS Reception

About 150 people attended the reception for YAM for the local high schools. Everyone really enjoyed viewing the artwork from across the county.

Youth Art Month - High School

Artwork from four area high school was hung today by the local art teachers. The quality of the work and talent represented are amazing! Thanks, Teachers!

Dubois, Forest Park, Jasper and Southridge were all represented.
